Owner of the "Classic Jewelry House Lobortas" Igor Lobortas and CEO George Sheynker have presented FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov the Big Caissa Cup on 8th of September in Polat Hotel.

In 2009 the jewelers from the Jewels house “Lobortas” together with the Rusian chess player A. Kosteniuk have designed the chess Oscar, named after the goddess of chess Caissa. Thus the House took an active part in the wisest game development and popularization.

The first nominee of the Small “Caissa” has become the best female player of the 2010 year Nadezhda Kosintseva (Russia) and the second small Oscar was given to Hou Yifan – the best female player of the 2011 year, during the 40-th Chess Olympiad on September, 2 ,2012.

The big Caissa was created to commemorate the names of the best female Oscars and will remain in FIDE forever. Every year a new name of the winner of the small cup will appear on the back side of the big one.
