The organizing committee came together for the workshop of 40th World Chess Olympiad between 30 April - 03 May, 2012. The President of Turkish Chess Federation, Ali Nihat Yazici leaded the workshop with attendance of the presidential board members and sport experts of Turkish Chess Federation.

They reviewed the progress of preparations. The organizational chart was determined in general lines. Some important deadlines was scheduled according to the work routine.

During the meeting, strategy that shall be followed was discussed in details.
